SPACE MEETINGS 2025
Before diving into our experience, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to Zoppas Industries for providing us with the booth that made our participation at Space Meetings Veneto 2025 possible. Their support gave us the opportunity to showcase our work in a professional setting and connect with companies from all over the world.

The event, held in Venice from May 20th to 22nd, marked the third edition of Space Meetings Veneto, an international convention dedicated to the space economy and innovation. This year’s edition brought together over 3,500 participants, 360 companies from 25 countries, and facilitated more than 5000 B2B meetings. For our team, it was an extraordinary opportunity to step into a global context, engage with some of the most forward-thinking minds in the aerospace sector, and bring the story of our project to an audience that shares our passion for space exploration.
Our experience began with the Cosmic Career Launch, a student pitch session where our CEO Rocco Bellon had the opportunity to present the THRUST Team. He shared our vision, structure and recent milestones, including the successful launch of our first rocket SFR0, which took place in Roccaraso on May 5th, 2025 and the static fire test of our next rocket, SFR1. Following the pitch, we took part in a roundtable discussion alongside other student projects such as J2050, Sunflower, Morpheus, LiftUp and Alba CubeSat. At the end of the session, our project was selected as the most innovative and impactful, a recognition that truly honored and motivated us.

On the second day, we were given the remarkable opportunity to present our project during the official opening ceremony of the event. We would like to sincerely thank President of the Veneto Region Luca Zaia and the Rector of the University of Padua Daniela Mapelli for supporting our participation and for recognizing the importance of student-led innovation in the aerospace field. Later that day, our teammate Alice Bacco represented the THRUST Team during the Startup Pitches organized by ESA BIC, managed by Officina Stellare SpA. This second pitch gave us the chance to share our vision and technical achievements with a wider audience of professionals, entrepreneurs, and investors.
Throughout the three-day event, we engaged in more than 50 B2B meetings, allowing us to broaden our professional network, receive invaluable feedback and explore new collaborations for the future of our project. Space Meetings Veneto 2025 was not only a chance to present our work, it was a springboard for new ideas, connections, and opportunities. We return to Padua inspired, energized, and more committed than ever to advancing student-driven innovation in aerospace.
