SFR I
SFR I is a hybrid sounding rocket developed by the THRUST Team. It is the team's first technological advancement in the form of a SRAD (Students Researched and Developed) rocket. The rocket is equipped with new flight technologies that have been devised by the team's hard work. Notably, SFR I has the ability to carry three Cansat payloads up to a height of 1 kilometers. It serves as a significant test bench for the team's technologies, allowing them to evaluate and refine their innovations. The design of SFR I focuses on innovation and simplicity, and it is the first time that many of its components will be put to the test. The rocket features a modular structure, consisting of non-structural skin and supporting flanges that divide the sounding into compartments:
- Recovery
- Payload&Electronics
- Tank
- Interstage
- Combustion Chamber
- Performances
- - Isp: 214 s
- - Max Speed: 0.75 M
- - O/F: 6.5
- - Payload: 3 Cansat
